Lease partners

Lease partners supply equipment.

A Lease Partner supplies the tractor. GRX hires and pays the driver as a W-2 employee. This page is an overview. It is not the lease. Read the written agreement before you sign.

The Road Connects Us All™

Terms overview

  • The written equipment lease is meant to meet 49 CFR Part 376.
  • While the equipment is under lease, GRX has exclusive possession, control, and use.
  • Compensation is written in the schedule before anyone signs.
  • There is no minimum and no guarantee of pay, loads, or revenue.
  • The driver is employed by GRX Logistics LLC. The Lease Partner does not supply or pay the driver.

Driver requirements

The person in the truck is a GRX driver, so the same hiring rules apply.

  • Class A CDL.
  • Age 22 or older.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Solo drivers need 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer over-the-road experience. On a team, one driver needs 1 year or more.

Tractor requirements

Tell us the model year, mileage, engine type, and whether the tractor is a sleeper. GRX has not published a numeric cutoff for model year, mileage, or engine type. Those standards are TODO. Do not treat company-truck years as a lease rule.
